Kisses 2020 XL

The "Kisses" series consists of sculptures and paintings that derive from the darkest period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing has triggered the reflection: "will the virus change the way we exchange affection?".

These sculptures are a way to share affection without actually sharing it physically. The action of kissing solidifies into a sculpture which can be safely shared with your dearest ones or sent to your far lover. A twirling Kiss caught in the middle of its movement from the sender to the receiver.

The "KISS2020 XL" sculpture derives from the fundraising project launched during the lockdown, "KISS2020 to fight the Virus", which involved the in-house production and sale of 3D printed miniatures to support the Italian Red Cross - Lodi Committee.
